I’ve filled my life with conducting interviews, writing articles and meeting deadlines. And clearly avoiding the Oxford comma. (I’ll use it if you insist.) Launching my own marketing firm in 2010 gave me tons of insight and expertise into the business of doing business; the importance of writing with a measurable goal as the objective. When you spend your life writing, you learn a lot.

I have been fortunate to have been able to pursue my passion while meeting so many interesting people and learning so many new things.

From covering city, county and state government to writing lifestyle and human interest features and profiles of some of the most interesting people, my journalism career provided a canvas on which I could paint word pictures. When my career transitioned into public relations and marketing, I found myself putting those skills to use on topics like R&D tax credits, RF welding and AV trends. Along the way, you learn that what you write for a case study or white paper is not the same as a blog or social media post. The nuances to each, tailored to the audience, becomes the art.
